We’re seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and organized property manager that can responsibly manage a mid-sized portfolio (400+ units, 10+ buildings) in Northern, NJ for our clients. The ideal candidate is professional, efficient, and detail-oriented team player with the ability to operate independently and understands the manager’s obligations to operate under the terms of the property’s management agreement. You’ll oversee the coordination and supervision of service providers and are accountable for all on-site property management including resident relations and financial reporting. You’ll report to our senior management team and work closely with our financial department to manage accounts payable/receivable.

What you’ll do

  • Vendor management: bid, negotiate and manage conformity of vendor contracts in accordance with client requirements or ours
  • Coordinate and oversee on behalf of client, all tenant and building construction work to ensure timely and accurate completion of all construction and maintenance work at property
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, codes, regulation, and governmental agency directives
  • Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for properties; complete weekly, monthly, quarterly inspections as required for a specific asset, company best practices and/or client requirements
  • Create and foster positive relationships with tenants, external, and internal clients by preparing for and attending regular meetings

You’ll need to have

  • 2+ years of real estate property management or related experience
  • Associate degree minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Working knowledge of Yardi
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Construction management experience preferred

Qualifications

2+ years of real estate property management or related experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Working knowledge of Yardi

Construction management experience preferred

Job Position: Executive Assistant

The Role:

We’re looking for a professional, proactive, highly-organized executive assistant to play a key role in our organization. You’ll be responsible for assisting our high-level executive with administrative duties such as making travel arrangements, overseeing itineraries, answering phone calls and managing our office filing system. You’ll also make arrangements for company events such as team outings and holiday party organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for the high-level executive
  • Ensure basic bookkeeping duties are completed in an organized and timely manner
  • Screen incoming information from messages, phone calls, voicemails, memos and emails, and compile the information into an organized and easy to access format
  • Support executive with meeting preparation including taking minutes, and run weekly meetings as a back up to office manager
